Con una alta participación, el torneo comenzó a las 09.00 de la mañana, con salida de al tiro; la modalidad de juego fue Stableford, con cuatro categorías: dos de caballeros y dos de damas, con dos premios en cada una. Cada uno de los participantes del torneo recibió a su llegada un generoso pack de bienvenida con regalos donados por El Corte Inglés y el Patronato de Turismo de la Costa del Sol. Al término del torneo degustaron todos una suculenta paella de la mano del Restaurante Mama Luchía Golf situado en la casa club de Lauro Golf.
Este día se caracterizó por el buen hacer de los jugadores con una magnífica calidad de juego y unas impresionantes puntuaciones.
La recaudación de los green fees fue donada en su totalidad a esta asociación, cuya labor principal consiste en dar apoyo y consuelo a personas necesitadas. Este campeonato benéfico contó con unos estupendos patrocinadores, entre ellos: el Patronato de Turismo de la Costa del Sol, Diputación de Málaga, Almeida Travel, El Corte Inglés, Bajondillo Apts, Banco Santander, Bodegas Quitapenas, Cruzcampo, Coca Cola , Discos Candilejas, Midas, Fernando Joyeros, Chavala Modas, Navarro Hermanos, Ofk Travel, Mandrágora, Cuadros Rodríguez, Diario Sur, Benedito Galleries, Hotel Alay, Hotel Elimar, Hotel Tropicana, Hotel Las Piramides, Hotel Sol Don Marco, Unicaja, Bodegas Domecq, Charter Costa del Sol, Unicaja, Cajamar, etc. los cuales aportaron muchos premios, entre ellos, estancia en hoteles y casas rurales, un día de crucero en velero para 8 personas, una bicicleta, polos, y un sinfín de fantásticos premios.
Premios que fueron a parar a los mejores jugadores de la jornada, y a los más afortunados en el gran sorteo, llevada a cabo por las caddy masters de Lauro Golf Sandra Russo y Julia Galeote; así como Dª Celia Lázaro Gandul, perteneciente al comité organizador del Teléfono de la Esperanza. Lo más importante es que entre los green fees y venta de tickets de la rifa solidaria se consiguió recaudar una importante suma de 1781 euros que servirá para contribuir con la maravillosa labor que realiza el Teléfono de la Esperanza..

Al final del evento, tomaron la palabra el Presidente del Teléfono de la esperanza Juan Sánchez Porras para agradecer la solidaridad mostrada por parte de todos los asistentes. Cabe señalar que fue una jornada en la que todo contribuyó a que los jugadores se marchasen contentos a casa tras una jornada de golf, premios y, sobre todo, mucha solidaridad.
PRIZES, PRIZES AND MORE PRIZES IN THE VI CHARITY TOURNAMENT TELEFONO DE LA ESPERANZA AT LAURO GOLF
Thousands of prizes were distributed on the 16th June at Lauro Golf Club on occasion of the celebration of the sixth Charity Tournament in favour of the Hope Phone foundation.
The Hope Phone is a non-governmental organization of social action and development cooperation that offers, for free, anonymous and dedicated service by phone or personal to give support to those people who are in an emotional crisis, and it also provides a range of professional effective resources in promoting improved quality of emotional life of individuals and families.
With a high audience, the tournament started with a shot gun start at 9.00 a.m., under a Stableford Individual modality, with four categories: two for gentlemen and two for ladies. Each category had two prizes. Each of the participants in the tournament received at their arrival a welcome pack with generous gifts donated by El Corte Inglés and Patronato de Turismo de la Costa del Sol. At the end of the tournament they tasted a succulent paella from the Mama Luchia Golf Restaurant hands situated in the Lauro Golf ‘s clubhouse.
The benefit of the green fees and raffle tickets, a total amount of 1,781€ was donated in full to the association, whose main task is to give support and comfort to people in need.

Fantastic prizes were given to the best players of the day, as well as to the luckiest ones in the charity raffle, conducted by the caddy masters of Lauro Golf Sandra Russo and Julia Galeote, as well as Ms Celia Lazaro Gandul, representative of the organizing committee of the Hope Phone.
The most important thing is the money collected with the green fees together with the sale tickets of the raffle helped to achieve a significant amount of 2000 euros, which will contribute to the wonderful work done by Hope Phone.

At the end of the event, the President of the Hope Phone Juan Sánchez Porras gave a speech thanking the solidarity shown by all attendees. All the players went home feeling happy because of their wonderful day of golf, the prizes and the most important, the great solidarity.
