II torneo Costa del Sol News en Lauro Golf

Con gran acogida y con un tiempo primaveral el pasado día 28 de Mayo se disputó la segunda edición del Torneo de la revista Costa del Sol Golf News en Lauro Golf. Revista que ha sido un referente para los golfistas de la Costa del Sol desde hace la friolera de 16 años.
La modalidad de juego fue Stableford individual con salida desde 2 hoyos a las 9 de la mañana. El juego transcurrió con gran fluidez, destacando sobre todo la gran calidad de muchos de sus participantes. Durante el recorrido cada uno de los participantes recibió un aperitivo y un refrigerio de manos del patrocinador.

Al término de la competición los jugadores pudieron degustar una merecida ración acompañada de una caña de manos del Restaurante Mama Luchía Golf situado en la casa club de Lauro Golf. Acto seguido se procedió a la entrega de premios que fue conducida por el director de la revista Eddie Maclean y la caddy Master de Lauro Golf Sani Alba, en la que entregaron premios y trofeos para los tres primeros clasificados, así como premios para la mejor dama, para la bola más cercana en el hoyo 2 y el drive más largo en el hoyo 7. Una vez finalizada la entrega de premios, se procedió al sorteo de magníficos premios ofrecidos de manera desinteresada por diversos patrocinadores tales como Golf for girls, City Golf, Hotel Tamisa Golf, Bodegas Orvalaiz, Marbella Golf, Estepona Golf, Santa Clara Golf, Two 4 One, etc.

“II COSTA DEL SOL GOLF NEWS TOURNAMENT” AT LAURO GOLF

With great success and with a lovely spring weather it was held the second edition of the Costa del Sol Golf News Tournament last May 28th at Lauro Golf. This magazine has been a reference for the golfers on the Costa del Sol for a mere 16 years.

The modality of the game was individual Stableford with a start from two different holes at 9 am. The game went fast and smoothly, with a high quality of golf shown by many of its participants. During the competition, each participant received a snack and some beverage courtesy of the sponsor.

After the competition all the players could enjoy a deserved large tapa accompanied by a “caña” or drink from the hands of the on-site Restaurant Mama Lucia Golf. Soon after it was held the prize giving which was conducted by the director of the magazine Eddie Maclean and the Caddy Master of Lauro Golf Sani Alba, who gave the prizes and trophies to the first top three winners, as well as, prizes for the Nearet to the pin in hole 21 and for the longest drive for ladies and gents in the 13th hole. A raffle took place after the presentation with great prizes offered by various sponsors such as Hotel Golf for Girls, City Golf, Tamisa Golf, Bodegas Orvalaiz, Marbella Golf, Estepona Golf, Santa Clara Golf, Two 4 One, etc.
