MALAGA VIRGEN CELEBRATES THE “II VINO PERNALES GOLF TOURNAMENT” AT LAURO GOLF

Following the success of the previous edition, Málaga Virgen wished to celebrate once more time their tournament at Lauro Golf. This time with the name of their new wine "Vino Pernales" the only DO Sierras de Málaga red wine, 100% syrah with one year in oak barrels and one year in bottle.

According to some reviews we find a mature red wine, more finalized where the fruit is dressed in red with wild friction, but essentially mature, embedded with fine chocolate and roasted ways reminiscent of nuts, it is rich and warm in the mouth. A huge Syrah, where the fruit and raising assembled to perfection, resulting in mouth very syrah

The golf competition was held last April 24 at Lauro Golf starting at nine in the morning from one hole. When the participants were arriving to the Caddy Master Malaga Virgen offered to each of them a tasting of their sweet wine, in order to begin the tournament with a sweet taste. The modality was Four Ball Best Ball with prizes for the top three couples. Besides a splendid raffle with bottles of this superb wine.

The prize giving was conducted by the Caddy Master Sani Alba accompanied by the Málaga Virgen representative Mariella Gancheva.

The winners of the competition were:
1 .- Melgar Manuel Benito and Jose Maria Lorenzo with a brut of 21 and 39 points.
2 .- Keith Melbourne and Paul Hadley with a brut of 30 and 38 points
3 .- John Podmore and Allan Peirson with a brut of 26 and 38 points

Lauro Golf thanked Malaga Virgen for their generosity and efforts to achieve the excellent atmosphere of the day.
