XI TORNEO KONINGINNEDAG EN LAUROGOLF

El buen tiempo y el ambiente festivo llegaron a Lauro Golf el pasado sábado 2 de mayo con la celebración  del XI Torneo Koninginnedag, una competición muy popular en este campo de Alhaurín de la Torre que se celebra en honor al cumpleaños de la reina de Holanda. Contamos con la presencia de aproximadamente 100 jugadores, muchos de ellos holandeses. La modalidad de juego fue en esta ocasión stableford, con salida al tiro a las 9 de la mañana. Se establecieron cuatro categorías mixtas dos de holandeses y dos para los no holandeses. Hubo también dos premios más para la bola más cerca de la bandera en los hoyos 2 y 11.

Entre los patrocinadores se contó con la colaboración de: Restaurante Vino Mío, La Duquesa Golf, Patronato de Turismo de la Costa de Sol, Hotel Guadalmina,  Salvador Network, Golfspain, Añoreta Golf, Kosta, ING Direct, Sol Andalusí, Dehesa Montenmedio, NH Sotogrande,  Andrés Olivares, Baviera Golf, Iberia, Club de Golf Los Naranjos, Málaga Wagen, Avis, y Lauro Golf.

Al término de la competición los jugadores disfrutaron de un estupendo buffet holandés y español, Carolina Steinmetz ex directora comercial de Lauro Golf y organizadora de este torneo tomó la palabra para rendir homenaje a las víctimas del atentado ocurrido durante el desfile de la reina de Holanda. La entrega de premios fue dirigida también por Carolina Steinmetz y por la presidenta del comité de competición Tove Mª Pedersen, acto seguido tuvo lugar el sorteo de magníficos premios entre los que destacaron dos billetes de avión cortesía de Iberia. La fiesta y la música fue amenizada por los Bandoleros de Mijas.

Sin más, añadir que todos los participantes quedaron muy satisfechos ante tantos e inmejorables regalos.

XI KONINGINNEDAG TOURNAMENT  IN LAUROGOLF

The good weather and the festive atmosphere arrived at Lauro Golf last Saturday 2nd of Mayl with the XI Koninginnedag Tournament, a very popular competition hold in honour to the Queen of Holland`s birthday. We had the assistance of 100 players, many of them were Dutch. This time the modality of play was stableford, it had a shot gun start at 9am. There were four mixed categories with three prizes in each on, two for dutch and two for non-dutch. There were also three prizes more for the nearest the pin in holes 2 and 11.

A memorial in honour of the victims of the last event happened during the parade in the Queen’s day took place before the prizes giving, which was done just after the players had enjoyed of a wonderful Spanish-Dutch buffet, was run by Carolina Steinmetz ex-marketing manager and the president of the commitee of competitions Tove Mª Pedersen. Straight after it took place the raffle with splendid prices, among them two Iberia flight tickets. The entertainment and the music was played by the Bandoleros of Mijas.

Finally, it was remarkable that all participants were very satisfied with so many and fantastic prizes.
