LATVIA VISISTES SPAIN   Wednesday, April 17th 2002. Some Latvians came to our school. Thay had travelled for six days in a bus. They had to be very tired! I was glad when they wrote a message to their parents. They were going to be 16 days without them! Some little children at schoo, thought that they were aliens. When I saw them I realised that they had strange names, were very white and came from another country but also that they are humans as we are. They spoke in another language, that was the only difference.   Cuando When I knew that some children from Latvia were going to come I felt happy. The first day they were in front of the door at school. We had made a poster to wellcome them.       In the breaktime all the children followed them. They wanted to ask them a lot of questions. I also wanted to tell them something but I was embarrassed. The following days we saw them in the morning, at the entrance. Then they always leave to some exursions. I didn´t like that they haven´t visited my classroom. Tanja, a teacher of them, likes Spain a lot. It´s a pity they have gone so soon! I was delighted with this visit and I would like them to come again.   3rd level (8/9 years old)
